How a sentiment reading is built

A reading is built from three things traders file on FundedHub: payout certificates, reviews and scam reports, weighed and compared to the rest of the market. This page explains exactly how, and why the middle of the scale is normal.

Open the radar

From filings to one reading

Readings come from payout certificates, reviews and scam reports filed on FundedHub, weighted so that the usual flood of complaints in this market does not read as a verdict. A firm we have not measured, or one with too little filed to measure, is listed as exactly that rather than left out.

1

Collect what was filed

On a schedule, we gather the window's filings: payout certificates that are published and checked, reviews whose author confirmed their address, and scam reports that were confirmed. Withdrawn or still-in-review items never count.

2

Judge and weigh

A payout certificate counts as positive, a confirmed scam report as negative, and a review by its tone. They are not equal: a confirmed report weighs most, a checked certificate more than an opinion. A document beats a sentence.

3

Place on the scale

The window is compared to the rest of the market. Sentiment above the typical range, within it, or below it. Below the minimum sample we show no reading at all.

What a source is, and is not

Filed here, or not counted

Only FundedHub is scanned. A source is a payout certificate, a review or a scam report, filed under an account. Each one is a page on this site that you can open and judge for yourself.

A name is the filer's choice

Every source is dated and linked. Whether a name stands beside a filing is decided by the trader when they file. Anonymous stays anonymous, and the reading never changes that either way.

The talk, not the firm

A reading measures how much was filed and which way it leans, not whether any of it is true. Every filing behind it is one you can open and judge yourself.

About readings

A sentiment reading is an automated measurement of publicly available posts. It describes how much is being said about a firm and which way it leans, not verified facts about the firm, and it is not a rating, a ranking or a recommendation. Posts are read and classified with the help of an AI system, and a classification can be wrong in individual cases; see how our AI works. Commercial relationships never influence a reading: every firm is measured the same way, whether or not it works with FundedHub.

Report a problem with a reading and we will re-check the window.

Where the sources are

A reading counts what was filed here and nothing else: a payout certificate, a review, a scam report, each one a page on this site you can open. That is a deliberate limit. It means a firm nobody has written about here shows no reading at all, and saying so is the point.
